Software Engineer

Job Duties

• Develop business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions using platforms such as Power BI and Spotfire to support data-driven decision-making.
• Implement and optimize data pipelines leveraging Databricks and modern Data Lake architecture for large-scale data processing under defined standards.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of data platform solutions using patterns such as data lakes, Lakehouse, and data mesh within established frameworks.
• Work with data governance platforms, including Alation, Microsoft Purview, and Unity Catalog, to ensure compliance and trusted data usage.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient data integration, processing, and deployment.
• Apply best practices for data modelling, governance, and integration across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable technical solutions with guidance from senior architects.
• Communicate data architecture and BI concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Integrate AI/ML features into BI and data solutions to enhance insights and support the adoption of intelligent capabilities.
• Maintain data security, compliance, and performance optimization across platforms in alignment with organizational standards.
• Work with technical teams and provide support to architectural leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
